Newman Groups

Adult Choir - Our dedicated choir rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:30 - 9:00 PM during "regular" times from September through the first week in June. They sing at almost every Sunday Service. Non regular times include Christmas, Easter and Concert Rehearsals during which rehearsals are extended or additional rehearsals scheduled. Check our calendar for the actual rehearsal schedules.

Bad Girls - A women's bible study and fellowship group who meets at various times and locations, check the latest Newman News for details of upcoming meetings and events.

Bereavement Group - Meets from 6:00 - 7:30 PM on the second Monday of each month in the Lounge (except Columbus Day, October 10, 2011).

Bible Study Group - An intimate group of adults that discusses biblical, theological, and social concerns meets every Friday at 9:15 am in the Lounge September through June, check the calendar for exact start and end dates.

Coffee Ladies - Volunteer October thru early May to provide refreshments during "Coffee & Conversation" following Sunday morning service.

Needles and Hooks Group - Knitters and crocheters meet the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month in the Lounge - September through June, check the calendar for exact beginning and end dates.

Newman News Ladies - They fold and label the outgoing hardcopy Newman Newsletters usually every other Wednesday (check the calendar for actual dates). This group gathers for camaraderie as much as getting the job done. We meet at Noon so feel free to bring your lunch! Make no mistake it's not just for ladies, all are welcome!

Piecemakers Quilting Group - Check the church calendar for dates/times.

Senior Choir - Mr. Geoffrey Greene, Music Minister leads this ensemble. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:30 in the Chapel September through the first week of June, again check the church calendar for exact dates.

Yoga - A Yoga For You class will resume at Newman on Saturday, October 1. Check church calendar for actual dates.

Youth Choir - Performs one Sunday per month and is led by Mr. Neil Letendre. Rehearsals are every (non-performance) Sunday in the Chapel at 10:45 AM start date TBD. See the church calendar for dates of performances (click on the morning worship for performances during the service) and rehearsals.

Youth Fellowship Groups - There are two separate Youth Groups. The "Sr. High Fellowship" consists of Newman Youth between the ages of 15 and 19. The "Middle School Fellowship" is designated for Newman Youth between the ages of 11 and 14.
