Where Worship Inspires

Sunday Morning Worship at 10:00 a.m.

Our regular Sunday morning worship is held in person in the sanctuary, and is livestreamed.

During the school year, Christian education classes for children happen on Sunday mornings. Parents and children begin in worship together, and after 10-15 minutes, children are invited to head to Church School classrooms with their teachers.

The adult choir under the direction of Geoffrey Greene is a joy-filled feature of worship from September to June.

After worship, everyone is invited to a time of coffee and conversation in the church’s Memorial Hall. It’s a wonderful time to meet new people, catch up with friends, and build community!

Can anyone attend Sunday worship at Newman Church? I’m not sure how to attend this church for the first time.

Yes, everyone is welcome! Come and see. Even if you’ve never been to church before, that’s okay.

A greeter at the front door of the church will welcome you and give you an order of worship booklet. You can continue into the sanctuary and find a seat in the pews where you feel most comfortable. Your worship bulletin and the minister’s words at the beginning of the service at 10am will tell you everything you need to know.

Do you perform weddings, baptisms, and memorial services?

Newman Church is a community church that prides itself on accompanying people and families during major life moments, losses, and celebrations. We would enjoy talking with you about special worship services to honor the major moments in your life. Please call 401.434.4742 for more information.

I am having a hard time with something. How can the church help?

Life brings struggles — losses, illness, addiction, desperation, and questions of meaning or purpose. We believe that no one should face these struggles alone. Our minister is not a therapist or doctor, but is pastorally trained to offer a listening ear and spiritual accompaniment to those who need support.
